I am SO sick of rain and grey skies. Bah! Humbug! Makes me want to crawl between the sheets and hibernate.

Hello. This post is likeable, and your blog is very interesting, congratulations :-). I will add in my blogroll =). If possible gives a last there on my blog, it is about the OLED, I hope you enjoy. The address is http://oled-brasil.blogspot.com. A hug.
This is Mark Frank--do you remember me??? I found your blog through Sarah's blog, and I'm glad to find that your verbal gymnastics and general Amishness haven't diminished one whit--and you have a beautiful family to boot! We (my wife Kumiko and I) have two young kids, ages 3 and 1, and we are living in the mountains in northern Japan--I know rain is depressing, but the last of our *snow* hasn't even melted off yet! Anyway, e-mail if you want, or stop by our blog.
There was once an actual salamander in my Dad’s slipper (His house is in a rather wooded area and is a haven to many non-human creatures.), and my best friend and I thought that would make a great children’s book title. We never wrote the book, but I figured I might as well put the catchy phrase to use as my blog title. Why not? (We don't know for sure if it was really a salamander vs. some other kind of lizardlike creature, but we were going for the alliteration. Artistic license, ya know?)
I'm a 35-year-old woman currently living in small-town MO. I'm from Springfield, MO's 3rd-largest city, and I'll hopefully reside there again in the summer of 2010. I'm currently a stay-home mom to my 6-year-old son, Nicholas, but I'm also a classically-trained soprano, and I still sing in choirs when I get the chance and have the occasional paid solo gig. I'm also a certified group fitness instructor, and I teach a body sculpting class at my gym, in addition to subbing for other classes (like step and yoga) as needed. I consider myself pretty intelligent and well-educated (Bachelor's in vocal performance with a minor in German), and have sometimes been known to have a deep thought or two. :) I might even have some worth sharing. Most of my posts, though, will probably be more mundane, superficial ramblings about my daily life. Stay tuned, and let me know what you think! (Could I BE more long-winded?) :)

I feel your pain. I've decided that when we move away from England one day, we're moving somewhere sunny and warm.
Amen to that! I feel like I am developing Seasonal Affective Disorder!!!! Come out from hiding, SUN!
